Yes, it’s super nice to travel and build memories with your loved one. But, there are some trips that are so much more enjoyable with your female friends.
5 Places To Travel With Your Girlies
I know that Paris is supposed to be the most romantic place on earth, but ask yourself this, will your boyfriend/husband spend hours queuing to get into a museum? Will your boyfriend/husband sit for hours outside a coffee shop people watching 31 Rue Cambon?
I don’t know about you, but when I went to Paris, I was trawling up and down all the streets, getting super excited about every vintage store I found. I had long breakfasts at Laduree. I spent the day wondering what Marie Antoinette would have done whilst exploring Versailles. Paris is a girl’s paradise and needs to be experienced with like-minded people. Preferably, your best friends.
Oh, and when you visit, don’t forget to check out the Montmartre Cemetery. I know it sounds strange, but it is so beautiful.
Dubai is currently home, and the more I get to know it, the more I see how much of a great girls holiday it can be. I know it’s a bit pricier than the usual getaways, but this city has so much to offer. Not only does it have the beach, shopping and great weather (except June through September). It also has Ladies EVERYTHING! There are Ladies Nights at at least three places every night, and Ladies Days at some beach clubs – Nikki Beach and Cove Beach are probably the best. Oh, and don’t forget Ladies Night at the Sofitel for some pampering.
Not to mention the desert safaris, amazing restaurants and wanders through Old Town.
Florence is pretty much the same as Paris. Seems like a great place to take the man in your life, but ultimately it’s better with your bestie. Again, there is a lot of queuing to get into the museums and galleries. And I can’t see my boyfriend passing the time discussing the various gossip and scandals of the Medici’s or Da Vinci (the TV shows mostly, the real people a bit).

A Wellness Retreat
Your retreats can be as immersive or as casual as you like. For beginners, or those not sure about retreats, head to Alma for the weekend. If you want something life changing, then head to these retreats in Bali or St. Lucia. Both of which provide a full programme of nutrition, fitness and activities. For a little bit of everything head to this retreat in Portugal.
Nothing says “a girls week away” like heading to the South of France and making your own perfume. Depending on where you are coming from and how much time you have, this could just be a weekend activity or part of a bigger road trip. But if I ever need to plan a bachelorette party, this is where I would have it.
