You have an app for running, an app for meditation, a separate one for yoga and another for food logging. But now, thanks to Adidas, you have one app that does everything.
“With All Day, we have taken everything we’ve learned about human performance and created an experience that serves up insights and challenges for anyone looking to live a healthy life. The biggest learning the app delivers on is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness It’s about discovering what works for you, so you can be your best,” says Stacey Burr, VP and General Manager of Adidas Digital Sports.
All Day App
Aimed at women, All Day aims to turn fitness into a lifestyle. Using its “Discoveries”, a programme of daily ideas and routines designed by industry experts, the app covers four areas women value most: movement, nutrition, mindset and rest. At present, there are 12 discoveries including:
- Yoga for Running: Renowned yoga instructor and runner Adriene Mishler guides a series of yoga sessions that can improve endurance, reduce muscle pain, and help take your running to the next level.
- Simple Clean Eating: Wellness Chef Candice Kumai offers recipes for clean and healthy eating. Recipes include nothing but the simple ingredients the body needs.
- Sleep Sounds Drift with DJ Nina Las Vegas: DJ Nina Las Vegas shares seven different one-hour music tracks to help with falling asleep faster, which can improve mood, reduce stress and boost physical performance.
- Get Fit Anywhere: Celebrity trainer Stephen Cheuk guides body weight and high-intensity interval training workouts that don’t require equipment.
Like most health apps it automatically tracks active minutes, steps, distance, and calories. But you can also self-log any other workouts you do.
All Day is currently available in America and will begin rolling out to other markets in Autumn. Just like Nike+, Adidas plans to hold community events in various cities. So expect a lot more yoga and fitness classes in your area. For more information visit http://www.adidas.com/ALLDAY.
